White Christmas is one of the all-time, classic Christmas movies!

White Christmas draws inspiration from the 1942 film Holiday Inn. I’m guessing you’re not familiar with that film, so I’ll give you a bit of a rundown.

In the film, Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye), two World War II veterans, travel to a resort in Vermont for the holidays. When they find out the resort is going to close because they can’t pay their bills, Bob and Phil partner with the two sisters and performers, Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy (Vera-Ellen), to put on a musical performance to help save the resort.

If you have older relatives around for the holidays, White Christmas is going to be a great Christmas pick for them! And, you might like it, too! Like I said, it’s classic Christmas!
