Santa Buddies is the ninth film in the Air Bud franchise and was a straight-to-DVD release when it was released in 2009. It’s amazing to me that they are still riffing on the Air Bud franchise, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, as they say. People love dogs, especially golden retrievers!

On top of that, Air Bud was, like, one of my favorite movies as a kid, so I’ve got give some props to the ninth film in the Air Bud franchise!

Honestly, Santa Buddies is a pretty weak movie when it comes to plot, acting, and all other criteria. On the other hand, though, it makes up for it with the cuteness of puppies, which turns an “F” grade into an “A” grade in just about any movie.

Dog lovers, Santa Buddies is for you! Watch it this Christmas! I don’t think you’ll regret it… unless you really have no heart or soul.
