Who won Top Chef season 15 (and where are they now)?

Top Chef season 15 is officially streaming on Netflix! We’ve got some great baking and cooking competition shows on the streamer, and now with the addition of Top Chef seasons 6 and 15, we get even more content to enjoy! Cooking reality series‘ are some of my favorites to watch. With Michael Voltaggio winning Top Chef season 6, who took home the title and cash prize in season 15?

In each installment, there’s always so many talented chefs that join the show and showcase their impressive abilities. But unfortunately, of course there can only be one winner. It was Joe Flamm who won Top Chef season 15! And as we follow along his journey throughout the season, I can tell you that the Chicago-native definitely deserved the $125,000 prize.

The season took place in Colorado and originally aired in December 2017 on Bravo. Coming in as the season 15 runner-up was Adrienne Cheatham. Fatima Ali, who finished in seventh place, was voted that year’s Fan Favorite. It’s been a few years now since Flamm won Top Chef season 15. So what is he up to now? We’ve got the details for you below!

What is Joe Flamm doing now?

Before taking part in the competition series, Joe Flamm was the executive chef at Spiaggia and Café Spiaggia in Chicago. He grew up in a large Italian family and got inspired to cook thanks to his grandmother, Mary. He was 31 years old when he took part in Top Chef season 15.

Though it seemed like he was almost going to be eliminated, Flamm was able to win Last Chance Kitchen and reentered the competition. And got crowned the next Top Chef! Since his win, he opened his very own Italian restaurant in Chicago in 2021. If you’re ever in the Windy City, be sure to go and try Rose Mary!

On the restaurant’s website, Flamm describes the eatery as “the culmination of everything I have done with my career. But more importantly, it’s the culmination of my personal journey thus far—a marriage of who I am, what I’ve learned, and the person I’ve built a life and a family with.” Some of what you’ll find on the menu includes grilled clams, tortellini djuvec, and lamb saddle.
