If you’re a fan of TV, chances are you’ve at least heard of the phenomenon that is Wednesday on Netflix. The series, following the titular character of the Addams Family, dropped in Nov. 2022 just in time for Thanksgiving, and it became a hit right away. The viewership numbers for this one are seriously impressive and it’s already one of the streamer’s most popular shows ever.

Just weeks after Wednesday premiered, it became the second most-watched English language Netflix show, right after Stranger Things.

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as we follow the character’s new chapter attending a boarding school for outcasts and freaks called Nevermore Academy. Though our leading lady is not interested in making friends, she discovers a prophecy at Nevermore that makes her realize she has a greater purpose in being there.

In early 2023, Netflix confirmed Wednesday season 2 is happening!

Without a doubt, Wednesday was one of the best Netflix shows of 2022, so if you haven’t watched it, what are you waiting for?
