Vikings: Valhalla premiered on Netflix in February 2022. Netflix followed up the first season with season 2 which was released in January 2023, and we already know Vikings: Valhalla season 3 is in the works on Netflix. We’re expecting the new season to arrive sometime in 2024.

The series is the sequel to the original Vikings series, which ran on the History Channel. The series is set about 100 years after the events of that series. The new series follows the journeys of three central characters: Lief Erikson (Sam Corlett), Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), and Freydís Eiríksdóttir (Frida Gustavsson).

If you like historical fiction or shows about Vikings, Vikings: Valhalla is absolutely the show for you! It looks like there is going to be even more seasons of this show coming to Netflix in the future. We’d love to see at least six seasons, and creator Jeb Stuart does, too!
