Looking for a fun romantic comedy that also features twists and turns that’ll keep you guessing? Look no further than XO, Kitty on Netflix! The 2023 show is a spinoff of the popular movie series To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, taking a focus on Lara Jean’s little sister Kitty. Growing up and establishing romantic relationships of her own, Kitty decides to move to South Korea to attend a boarding school to be with her long-distance boyfriend.

Kitty’s late mother happened to attend the boarding school as well, so the show also follows her journey trying to connect the dots on her mom’s life during her time there. What she discovers, however, are secrets about her family she never could’ve imagined.

XO, Kitty was an immediate hit when it premiered on Netflix in May 2023, and we understand why! It’s such a cute, heartfelt show full of laughs and surprises. Anna Cathcart absolutely shines in the leading role and we can’t wait for the story to continue. That’s right: Netflix renewed XO, Kitty for a second season in June. If you enjoy the rom-com genre, XO, Kitty is worth the watch.
