Army of Thieves is set in the same world as Army of the Dead, the wildly popular zombie movie from earlier this year from Zack Snyder. Army of Thieves takes place before the events of Army of the Dead and focuses on one of the main characters, Ludwig Dieter (Matthias Schweighöfer), an expert safe-breaker. In the film, Dieter is recruited by a team of criminals to join their epic heist operation.

You can watch this movie even if you haven’t seen Army of the Dead, and there aren’t really any zombies in the Netflix movie. It’s all about the heist, and who doesn’t love an epic heist movie?!
