The leading man reunited with director Shawn Levy, who also directed him in Free Guy. Clearly, these two make great movies when they collaborate, and they’re just getting started.

The Adam Project centers on Adam Reed as he finds himself back in 2022 while on a mission to 2018 from the year 2050. Adam teams up with his 12-year-old self (Walker Scobell) in order to save their future. The movie also stars Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo as Adam’s parents as well as Zoe Saldaña as Adam’s wife, Laura.

If you’re into science fiction movies, The Adam Project should sail straight to the top of your watch list. It has all of the high-concept plotting you want from a sci-fi movie, and there’s plenty of action and emotion to keep viewers hooked, too. Even though you’ll be crying in some parts, you’ll definitely have some questions about the climax and the big ending.
