The Gray Man

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo

Cast: Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Wagner Moura, Julia Butters, Dhanush, Alfre Woodard, and Billy Bob Thornton

The Gray Man is officially Netflix’s most expensive movie to date. It has so many huge stars involved, and it was a massive production, so it makes sense why it was so expensive, but does it live up to the hype?

Well, that depends who you ask. The film tells the story of Sierra Six, a CIA agent who is caught in the crosshairs of a former CIA agent who has gone rogue. The movie is based on Mark Greaney’s Gray Man novels.

The Gray Man looks outstanding, and the action sequences are amazing. The cast is also really good, and a good reason to check out the movie. For me, the story was just lacking a little something to keep me hooked for more than two hours. Netflix has done more with a lot less.

If you like expensive action movies with a superstar cast, you should definitely watch this movie on Netflix. If not, you can skip The Gray Man without missing much or feeling bad about it.

Verdict: SKIP
