Extraction 2 premiered on Netflix on June 16, 2023, and it’s a must-watch for fans of the first Extraction movie starring Chris Hemsworth. The sequel continues Tyler Rake’s story after his miraculous recovery from the injuries sustained in the first movie.

In Extraction 2, Tyler is approached by an unnamed fancy man, played by Idris Elba, at his remote cabin in the woods. He asks Tyler to rescue the sister and her children of Tyler’s ex-wife, Mia (Olga Kurylenko), from a Georgian prison where they’re being held. Tyler trains up for the rescue mission, and with the help of his friend, Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani), Tyler rescues the family, but that’s just where this story begins!

Extraction 2 is well on its way to becoming one of the most popular Netflix movies of all time. And, from the sounds of things, Extraction 3 is already in the works at Netflix. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Tyler Rake and Nik Khan.
