Virgin River season 5 is back with exciting holiday episodes that will surely get you into the festive spirit! The Netflix Original has been a favorite of ours here at Netflix Life since it premiered in 2019, and the latest installment proves there are still so many entertaining storylines to explore. The series follows the daily lives of the people of the fictional North California town of Virgin River, including nurse practitioner Mel and her boyfriend, local bar owner Jack. In such a small town, gossip gets around quickly, and there’s no shortage of drama.

We won’t get into spoilers here for Virgin River season 5 if you haven’t finished yet, but expect to have your biggest questions from the previous season answered, along with new plot points and shocking moments. Of course, we’ll be getting to know a few new characters as well who we’re sure are bound to capture audiences’ hearts.

Virgin River season 5 was split into two parts, with the first 10 episodes releasing in September and the final two — the holiday episodes — coming out on Thursday, Nov. 30. Though the first batch of episodes is no doubt the most eventful, these new ones aren’t without drama! We get answers to questions posed in part 1, and part 2 ends on another cliffhanger we simply cannot stop thinking about.

The good news is that Virgin River season 6 is in the works, and we just heard an accidental reveal from actor Martin Henderson that production is set to start in early 2024. We cannot wait to see what happens next on this addicting show, and we’ll keep you updated with any developments we hear on the sixth installment.
