Family Switch is a holiday movie like no other! Plus, there’s a twist. We’ve gotten some classic films like Freaky Friday that revolve around a body switching storyline. But maybe not one quite like this. Get ready for Family Switch, coming to Netflix Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023!

The main cast members of the comedy Family Switch are Jennifer Garner as Jess Walker, Ed Helms as Bill Walker, Brady Noon as Wyatt Walker, Emma Myers as CC Walker. Rita Moreno as Angelica, Matthias Schweighöfer as Rolf, and more also star.

The story is centered around the Walker family, led by patriarch Bill and matriarch Jess. The two parents are trying their hardest to keep their family close as their kids are getting “older, more independent, and more distant,” per the synopsis. After a chance encounter with astrological reader Angelica, everyone in the house wakes up in each other’s bodies. Even baby Miles and the dog have body swapped!

This couldn’t have come at a worse time as this happens on the “most important day” for each of the family members is here – a promotion at work, a record deal, a college interview, and a soccer tryout. Plus, you don’t want the baby eating dog food! Can the family get along to figure out how to reverse it all? We’ll find out soon!

Jennifer Garner as Jess Walker

Jennifer Garner takes on the role of the matriarch of the Walker family, Jess. She ends up waking up one morning and switching bodies with her daughter, CC.

What have you seen her in before?: Jenna in 13 Going on 30 (which also involved a body swap!), Sydney Bristow in Alias, Vanessa Loring in Juno, Emily Spier in Love, Simon, and most recently Hannah Hall in The Last Thing He Told Me. The actress is set to star as Elektra Natchios in the upcoming movie Deadpool 4.

Ed Helms as Bill Walker

Ed Helms is the patriarch of the family, Bill Walker. The character is a high school music teacher and frontman of “dad rock band Dad or Alive,” per Netflix’s Tudum. When he switches bodies with his son Wyatt, the father learns some “valuable lessons” about his family.

What have you seen him in before?: Stuart Price in The Hangover movies, Andy Bernard in The Office, Brad Gurdlinger in We’re the Millers, and Nathan Rutherford in Rutherford Falls (which he co-created). The actor was also a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Emma Myers as CC Walker

Emma Myers is CC, a high school senior ready for college. The “rising soccer star” learns something new when she switches bodies with her mother, like maybe the two learn how to find “some middle ground.”

What have you seen her in before?: The actress got her breakthrough role as Enid Sinclair in Netflix’s Wednesday. Her other projects include the movies Southern Gospel and Girl in the Basement. Other than Family Switch, Myers will be starring as Pip Fitz-Amobi in the British series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

Brady Noon as Wyatt Walker

Brady Noon takes on the role of one of the other Walker kids, Wyatt. He switches bodies with his dad. The “tech-loving” teen is very smart, but struggles with school bullies and “unattainable crushes.” Perhaps with Bill being in his son’s shoes, literally, he’ll be able to help him out.

What have you seen him in before?: Voice of Greg Heffley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films, Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Thomas Darmody in Boardwalk Empire, and Evan Morrow in The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
