Where to watch more seasons of Shahs of Sunset

Today is the day! Two seasons of the popular reality series Shahs of Sunset are available to stream on Netflix. Those seasons are the first two seasons, and it won’t take you long to watch them. But there are nine seasons in total, so where can you watch the rest of the show? No worries! We know exactly where you can watch seasons 3 through 9.

Shahs of Sunset is one of the recently licensed shows that Netflix acquired. It originally aired on the TV network, Bravo, for nine seasons from 2012 to 2021. It’s a show following the lives of a group of Persian-American friends living the luxurious life in Los Angeles, California, while also trying to juggle their active social lives, rising careers, families, and traditions.

The cast slightly changed over the seasons, but some of the cast members were Reza Farahan, Mike Shouhed, Mercedes Javid, Golnesa Gharachedaghi, Asa Soltan Rahmati, Sammy Younai, Lilly Ghalichi, and Asifa Mirza.

So, here’s the thing. Shahs of Sunset seasons 3-9 are not available to stream on any streaming platform. The only way you can watch the rest of the show is by buying individual episodes or full seasons through websites such as Amazon Video, Google Play, Vudu, and Apple TV. You can also buy the seasons that are currently on Netflix (seasons 1 and 2) through the websites just listed.

There’s a possibility that seasons 3 to 9 could eventually come to Netflix, but that’s only if the streaming giant acquires licensing rights. We’ll let you know if this ever happens.

Why was Shahs of Sunset canceled?

Although the real reason on why Shahs of Sunset was canceled was never revealed, it’s believed that the cancellation stemmed from one of the cast member’s legal troubles. Mike Shouhed was arrested for “intimate partner violence with injury” by the LAPD on March 27, 2022. However, production sources reportedly told TMZ that Shouhed’s arrest had nothing to do with the show’s cancellation and that the show had simply “run its course.”

The good news is that there might be potential future projects for some of the cast members, such as Reza Farahan, Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi. So, we haven’t seen the last of some of the Shahs of Sunset cast.
