Leo

The 74-year-old lizard star of Adam Sandler’s upcoming animated Netflix film Leo is getting his own float at this year’s parade! The Leo float is 41 feet tall, 73 feet long, and 27 feet wide—so big it took 50 gallons of paint to coat the entire thing.

Sandler voices the titular character in the movie, which released on November 21, 2023. The cast also includes the voices of Bill Burr, Cecily Strong, Jason Alexander, Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Jackie Sandler, Nick Swardson, Stephanie Hsu, and more!

Po from Kung Fu Panda

Even though Kung Fu Panda did not originate on Netflix, the streamer has several Kung Fu Panda movies and shows available, including Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. Like the Leo and Monkey D. Luffy floats, Po is a new addition to the line-up this year and his balloon took over 1,000 yards of fabric to create!

Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece

Painted with more than 20 different colors, the new One Piece balloon at the 2023 parade is in honor of the anime series’ 25th anniversary next year. Of course, Netflix plans have something else to celebrate: the surprise hit of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the series which debuted this past summer and has already been renewed for a second season. The anime and several of the spinoff films are available to stream on Netflix right now, too.
