Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, Netflix officially drops a brand-new original original Christmas movie called Best. Christmas. Ever! Even though some people don’t believe in decking the halls until after Thanksgiving, for those of us who don’t mind a little holiday spirit early, we’ll be watching Brandy’s new Christmas movie and turning up the holiday hits.

In the movie, Brandy plays Jackie, a wife and mother who sends out a holiday letter every year that celebrates her family’s achievements for the year. Unfortunately, Jackie’s letter makes her old college friend Charlotte (Heather Graham) feel like her life is lacking. Because of a classic Christmas mixup, their families end up spending the holiday together.

Best. Christmas. Ever! also stars Jason Biggs as Charlotte’s husband and Matt Cedeño as Jackie’s husband. Judging by the success of last year’s new releases Falling for Christmas and The Noel Diary, Netflix will have another fan-favorite hit on their hands. And beyond the hilarious story of the movie, there’s also an excellently spirited soundtrack to top it all off.

Here are all of the songs featured in the movie:

  • “Better Together” by The Jilettes
  • “Snow” by JJ Heller
  • “Santa Baby” by Serena Ryder
  • “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” by Sophie Park
  • “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” by Brandy
  • “Quizas, Quizas, Quizas” by Ritmos Latinos
  • “All the Little Things” by Sarah DeFors
  • “Jingle Jangle” by Reyha Stevens
  • “Beautiful Season” by AJ
  • “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by Grace Crugnale
  • “Just Cancel Christmas” by Kirsty Almeida
  • “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” by Brandy
  • “That Holiday Feelin'” by Amy Stroup

Brandy might be known best as a singer, with hits like “The Boy Is Mine” and “Have You Ever?,” but she only sings two songs in the movie. The Grammy-winner sings “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow” and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town,” the latter of which ends the movie. It’s such a treat to get to see her show off all of her talents for the Netflix movie!

Brandy released a Christmas album in 2023

On Nov. 10, one week ahead of the movie’s release on Nov. 16, Brandy released her first Christmas album, aptly titled Christmas with Brandy. Unfortunately, the two songs she sings in the Netflix movie aren’t included on the album.

These are the songs featured on Brandy’s Christmas album:

  • “Feels Different” (original)
  • “Somebody’s Waiting” (original)
  • “Christmas Party for Two” (original)
  • “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”
  • “Santa Baby”
  • “Christmas Gift (feat. Sy’rai)” (original)
  • “Shine Out Your Light” (original)
  • “The Christmas Song”
  • “Someday at Christmas”
