Best. Christmas. Ever! cast guide: Where you’ve seen the cast before

Netflix is known for releasing Christmas movies in the month of November instead of December, and the streamer has done it again in 2023. Best. Christmas. Ever! is the Netflix Christmas movie everyone should be watching, and one of the main reasons why is because of the talented actors starring in it.

I’m sure you’ll recognize many of the faces in the comedy film, such as Brandy Norwood, Heather Graham, Jason Biggs, and Matt Cedeño. But there are also some new faces like Abby Villasmil, Wyatt Hunt, and Madison Skye Validum.

Charlotte Sanders and Jackie Jennings are old college friends who have drifted apart over the years. While Charlotte is stuck working a job she doesn’t like and is struggling with her family’s finances, Jackie just sold her aviation company for tons of money and is seemingly living a picture-perfect life with her husband and kids.

Every Christmas, Jackie sends Charlotte a holiday newsletter, providing information on her and her family’s recent achievements. But Charlotte refuses to believe that Jackie’s life is that perfect. So, when she and her family unexpectedly arrive on the doorstep of the Jennings family just days before Christmas, Charlotte makes it her mission to prove that Jackie’s life isn’t as picture-perfect as she makes it seem.

Charlotte’s not happy with her life. She has a loving husband and kids, but she wants more for her and her family. Her dream was to be a famous inventor, but she gave it up because it was taking too long to happen. Instead, she works as a reliability engineer, a job she doesn’t like.

Every Christmas, Charlotte receives a holiday newsletter from Jackie that shares all of her family’s recent successes, but she’s tired of hearing about her old college friend’s seemingly perfect life. That’s why when she and her family find themselves stuck with the Jennings family for Christmas, she seizes the opportunity to uncover the truth.

Heather Graham is best known for her roles in the movies Drugstore Cowboy, Six Degrees of Separation, Boogie Nights, Bowfinger, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, From Hell, The Hangover and The Hangover Part III. She also had roles in the TV shows Twin Peaks, Scrubs, Angie Tribeca, Californication and Law & Order True Crime.

Brandy Norwood as Jackie Jennings

Jackie is an overall joyful person. She’s accomplished many things in her life, such as selling her successful aviation business for millions of dollars and retiring early. She also has a loving husband and kids. But not everything is what it seems, and this is something her old college friend, Charlotte, will soon find out when she and her family arrive at her house just days before Christmas.

Brandy is a Grammy Award-winning singer. Some of her best songs are “I Wanna Be Down,” “The Boy Is Mine,” “Almost Doesn’t Count,” “Have You Ever?,” and “Full Moon.” She’s also known for starring as the titular character Moesha in the ’90s TV sitcom Moesha and as Cinderella in the television film Cinderella. Some of her other roles were in the TV shows One on One, 90210, Drop Dead Diva, The Game, Zoe Ever After, Star and Queens.

Jason Biggs as Rob Sanders

Rob is Charlotte’s supportive husband. He wants to buy a house, but Charlotte doesn’t think it’s the right time yet because of their finances. He’s also Jackie’s ex-boyfriend whom she dated back in college. They were once in a No Doubt cover band together.

You might recognize Jason from his role as Jim Levenstein in the American Pie film series. He also played Larry in the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black. Some of his other roles were in Boys and Girls, Saving Silverman, Jersey Girl, Eight Below, Over Her Dead Body and My Best Friend’s Girl.

Matt Cedeno as Valentino Jennings

Valentino is Jackie’s swoonworthy husband who runs a successful karate dojo. He can be very flirtatious, but that’s just who he is. He’s also directing the town’s annual Christmas pageant, which is the town’s biggest event of the year.

Matt is known for his previous roles as Brandon Walker in the soap opera Days of Our Lives and Alejandro Rubio in the comedy-drama series Devious Maids. He also had roles in the TV shows Z Nation, Power, Ambitions, Truth Be Told and Promised Land. He’s currently starring in the BET+ series Ruthless.
