3. Season 2, Episode 6

This is my third favorite episode of the show. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this one, and I can totally understand. I mean, the episode dragged and was slow-moving. What we were all waiting for could’ve happened a lot sooner. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of Bridgerton season 2 as a whole, but there are some scenes sprinkled throughout that I enjoyed watching.

The main reason I ranked episode 6 so highly on my list is because it’s when Kate and Anthony have their first kiss, a passionate one at that. After all the pent-up emotions and tension, they finally act on their feelings. It’s also when the truth comes out at Anthony and Edwina’s wedding.

Anthony can barely contain himself as he stands at the altar, watching Kate approach him. The heavy breathing and intense eye contact really showed how enamored he was with Kate. As Anthony and Edwina say their vows at their wedding, Anthony can’t stop staring at Kate. He becomes so distracted that Edwina starts putting the pieces together and realizes that something’s going on between him and her sister. Although it was sad to watch for Edwina, it was time for everything to finally come out.

Another part of the episode I enjoyed watching was the closet scene where Anthony grabs Kate’s hand. They both stare at their entangled hands in shock because of their strong connection. No matter how hard they try to fight it, their feelings for each other have only grown stronger. Everything else in the sixth episode bored me, though.

2. Season 1, Episode 8

In this season 1 finale, Daphne finally finds out the real reason why Simon doesn’t want kids, so she starts to see him in a new light. Siena and Anthony part ways for good after she realizes that they can never truly be together since they come from different social classes. Lord Featherington meets his demise, and Lady Featherington and their kids are left penniless. Marina finds out she’s still pregnant and decides to accept Sir Phillip’s marriage proposal to secure her future. We also find out who’s behind Lady Whistledown.

My favorite scene from the episode would have to be the scene where Daphne confesses her undying love to Simon in the rain. It was very emotional to watch. The way Simon stares at Daphne with so much love but just doesn’t know how to express it. He meets with her later that day and tells her that he’s willing to try to be together for real. They then sleep together. The season finale ends perfectly with Daphne and Simon welcoming their first child.
