5. Season 2, Episode 1

Now that Daphne has found her husband and is happily in love, the focus has shifted to the oldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony. It’s time for him to find a wife, and with the introduction of the Sharma sisters, his love life becomes complicated instantly.

From their very first meeting in the woods, you can tell there’s a spark between Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma. But everything turns sour when Kate overhears Anthony badmouthing the young debutantes of London and sharing his high standards for a future wife to other bachelors. She wants nothing to do with him after this, and she tries her best to steer her younger sister Edwina away from him as well. But it’s too late because Anthony has already set his sights on Edwina, and it’s her that he wishes to marry. Well, for now…

This episode wasn’t that interesting to me besides the short Kanthony scenes and the sweet scenes between Eloise and Penelope. Actually, I enjoyed every Eloise scene. She’s just so funny. Everything else was meh. The side plot centering around the Featheringtons and Cousin Jack just didn’t keep my attention. Honestly, I expected more from a season premiere.

4. Season 2, Episode 8

You had to know I was going to rank the season 2 finale in a high spot. Kate and Edwina make up, Anthony and Kate get their happy ending, Eloise finds out that Penelope is Lady Whistledown, and Lady Featherington manages to get rid of Cousin Jack for good.

Although it was sad to see Eloise and Penelope end the season on bad terms, it was going to happen sooner or later. Penelope and Colin don’t end on good terms at the end of the season either, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens between them in Bridgerton season 3. Also, I really wanted Eloise and Theo to end up together, but I guess that can’t happen if the writers are going by the books. Overall, the season 2 finale was entertaining to watch.
