Angus Cloud’s movie Your Lucky Day set for March 2024 release on Netflix
By Mads Lennon
Euphoria actor Angus Cloud tragically passed away at the young age of 25 in July 2023, but the actor will still appear in a few more movies posthumously. One of his last film roles is in the thriller film Your Lucky Day from writer and director Daniel Brown.
Your Lucky Day was released in select theaters on Nov. 10, and later arrived on video on demand on Nov. 14. Fortunately for Netflix subscribers, the action thriller flick is slated to be released on Netflix very soon. We're talking in a day soon. Your Lucky Day will make its way to Netflix on Friday, March 8, 2024. It'll likely be dropped at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET since that's when Netflix usually releases new content on its platform. See below for more specific details needed to check out the movie at home.
The film’s plot revolves around a deadly hostage situation that occurs after a man wins the lottery and announces his $156 million to everyone in the vicinity (at least based on the trailer—probably not the smartest move, dude!). Cloud’s character, Sterling, then pulls a gun on the ticket recipient and takes everyone around them hostage as he demands the man hand over his winning ticket. Things only get more intense from there.

- Theaters: Limited release
- Digital release date: Nov. 14 through retailers like Vudu, Amazon, Google Play, and Apple
It’s unclear if Your Lucky Day will get a physical release yet, though there is a good chance that it will as distributor Well Go USA Entertainment has released many of its films on DVD and Blu-ray, such as the recent movies Bad City and Ride On.
I recommend checking out this film if you can, especially if you are a fan of Cloud’s. He delivers a great performance alongside his cast mates, including Jessica Garza, who really steals the show. Your Lucky Day is an engaging and fast-paced film with tight plotting and some genuinely shocking twists.
If you’re looking for a similar movie that is on Netflix, I recommend The Commuter, The Gray Man or The Guilty. We’ll keep you updated if anything changes, so stay tuned to Netflix Life.
