Are Mike and Samantha from Love in the Wild season 1 still together?

Fans of dating and reality competition television are in for a treat as Netflix has added the old NBC series Love in the Wild to its streaming catalog. For now, the streamer only has the first season. It’s unclear if Love in the Wild season 2 will eventually be added, but if season 1 gets popular I’m sure that could change.

Love in the Wild is just the latest in several acquisitions from NBCUniversal, as Netflix recently added the plastic surgery series Botched to its catalog, too. Botched is an E! series, and NBCUniversal owns that network as well.

Combining the traditional dating show premise with something akin to Survivor, challenging 20 singles to a remote location in Costa Rica to try and find love while simultaneously competing in challenges that test their compatibility.

At the end of each episode, the winning couple gets to spend a night together in a luxury resort and then everyone gets together to choose their next partner during a ceremony. Anyone left unmatched is eliminated.

Mike & Samantha relationship status update

Love in the Wild season 1 ends with Samantha Spiro, née Woods and Michael “Mike” Spiro winning, and their prize is a vacation around the world.

Luckily for anyone who was supporting Samantha and Mike, we have some good news! The couple is still very much together, at least as of June 2023. The pair got engaged in 2013 and then married in 2014. They have two children together, their daughter Audrey and son Zachary.

In June, Samantha shared some adorable photographs of her and her beautiful family together on a vacation in Hawaii, where the kids got to go zip-lining for the first time, which is quite fitting given their parents did that very thing on the show!
