New Christmas movies on Netflix in November 2023
By Mads Lennon
November is the month of Thanksgiving here in the United States, but most of us like to get into the Christmas spirit early. It’s the best time of the year! Why limit it to just one month? Like how Halloween has spread its spooky tendrils into September, many switch gears as soon as the clock strikes midnight on November 1.
As Netflix subscribers start scanning the catalog for holiday movies to watch in anticipation for Christmas morning, they’ll be pleased to know the streamer has several new Christmas movies on deck this November, including one starring Brandy Norwood!
Here are the festive movies coming to Netflix this November.
The Claus Family 3
Not to be confused with The Santa Clause movies starring Tim Allen, The Claus Family is a charming series of Dutch-Belgian films streaming on Netflix and the third movie in the trilogy is coming on November 8. In the latest family saga, Grandpa Noël’s grandchildren Jules and Noor must work together to help save the day when a delivery of presents goes wrong. The Claus Family and The Claus Family 2 are now streaming.
Best. Christmas. Ever!
Netflix’s big Christmas movie this year is Best. Christmas. Ever! starring Brandy Norwood and Heather Graham as old friends who have since formed a one-sided rivalry. Charlotte (Graham) has a hard time believing Jackie’s (Norwood) life is as wonderful as it seems, so when she and her family end up invited to stay at Jackie’s home for the holidays, Charlotte takes it upon herself to find the secret to her friend’s success, no matter what. Streaming Nov. 16.
The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday
Mr. Wolf and his gang of anthropomorphic animal criminals are back for a special half-hour holiday special that serves as a prequel to the 2022 animated film. The gang of animals usually love Christmas because it gives them a beautiful morning to pull off an uninterrupted heist while everyone is distracted.
But when the holidays get canceled, the group must figure out a way to reignite the holiday spirit for a change. It sounds very Grinch. Unfortunately, the new special won’t feature any of the original voice actors and if you were hoping to revisit the movie, you’ll have to go to Peacock, as it is not longer on Netflix. Streaming Nov. 30.
Virgin River season 5 part 2
The final two episodes of Virgin River season 5 will include ice-skating, snow, a Christmas tree decorating competition, and more about the mysterious identity of Mel’s father, who is apparently still in Virgin River! While not a movie, fans of the show will appreciate these cozy holiday episodes that also serve as a climactic ending to the hit show’s fifth season. Streaming Nov. 30.
