Is Suitable Flesh streaming on Netflix?

October isn’t over just yet, which means there’s still time for more horror movies to debut during the spooky season. One new film coming out on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 is Suitable Flesh! Is the movie streaming on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Suitable Flesh is not streaming on Netflix. And it probably won’t in the future either. On release day, the horror film will have a limited run in theaters. So you’ll have to head to the big screen to check it out. There’s also another option. And that’s video on-demand. That means on Oct. 27, you’ll be able to rent or buy the production as well.

Where will Suitable Flesh be streaming?

While renting or buying content is still a good choice to have, sometimes we just want films and shows to be added to a streaming service we’re already paying for. If you’re in that boat like me, don’t worry. I totally get you! Suitable Flesh is being distribute by RLJE Films and Shudder. And so in January 2024, the horror movie will begin streaming on Shudder. No exact streaming release date has been set yet.

What to expect from Suitable Flesh

Suitable Flesh is centered around Psychiatrist Dr. Elizabeth Derby, played by actress Heather Graham. She starts to help a “young patient” named Asa who has an “extreme personality disorder,” per the synopsis. The doctor becomes “obsessed” with helping her patient. But the more she looks into Asa’s situation, she realizes there’s something “dark and supernatural” affecting the young man. And it might even start to have consequences on Elizabeth as the “dark occult danger” could lead her to a “horrific fate.” Ooh, sounds so intriguing! Now this is my kind of horror movie. The film, directed by Joe Lynch and written by Dennis Paoli, first made its debut at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in June. The production is based on the short story “The Thing on the Doorstep” written by H. P. Lovecraft in 1937. So who else rounds out the cast and joins Graham onscreen?
