The Meyerowitz Stories is the only movie on the list not a part of Sandler’s overall Netflix deal. The film was written and directed by Noah Baumbach, and Sandler stars in the Netflix original film. There’s no doubt this is one of the best performances that Sandler has delivered in his career. The Meyerowitz Stories and Uncut Gems were the first times Sandler delivered in dramas, and it’s great to see how it’s changed his career.

The Meyerowtiz Stories tells the story of the Meyerowitz family and how they interact with the family’s patriarch, Harold (Dustin Hoffman). Sandler plays Harold’s eldest son, Danny, who is forced to move in with his father after separating from his wife.

If you haven’t seen The Meyerowitz Stories, you should definitely check it out on Netflix. It’s easily one of the best Netflix original movies so far.
