Murder Mystery 2 makes the top half of the ranking of Adam Sandler’s Netflix movies. It’s the sequel to Murder Mystery, and it continues the story of Nick and Audrey Spitz (Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston) after the events of the first film.

In Murder Mystery 2, Nick and Audrey venture to a private island for the wedding of Vikram “The Maharajah” Govindan (Adeel Akhtar). When The Maharajah is kidnapped and another murder takes place, Nick and Audrey try to get to the bottom of the situation, but they end up, again, framed for  a crime that they didn’t commit. They must evade assassins and the law to clear their names.

Murder Mystery 2 is definitely a higher quality than most of Adam Sandler’s Netflix movies. It makes a great double feature with Murder Mystery, which is actually next up on the list of Sandler’s Netflix movies.

If you like the first Murder Mystery, you’ll definitely like the sequel. It’s not quite as good, but it hits all the same beats and feels like the first movie even if the story isn’t quite as tight.
