Hubie Halloween is the most hyped Netflix movies of 2020, and the hype kind of paid off. There wasn’t a movie more popular than Hubie Halloween in October 2020. The Netflix original movie is Sandler’s sixth Netflix movie, and it’s definitely part of the turning point for Sandler’s movies becoming good (to some people!).

Hubie Halloween isn’t my favorite movie. There are far too many ridiculous jokes and gags, but the story is actually quite good. Hubie du Bois (Adam Sandler) is the resident hall monitor of the Halloween capital of the world, Salem, Massachusetts, and he’s bullied by many of the townsfolk. On Halloween, Hubie notices mysterious things happening, as well as people going missing, but no one will listen to him. He has to muster up the courage to solve the mystery.

Hubie Halloween is the perfect Netflix movie to watch for Halloween. It’s No. 6 on our list, but it’s No. 1 during Halloween season.
