No Hard Feelings just hit Netflix on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023. It’s easily the most popular new movie to hit the streaming service in a long time, although it won’t last long with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix on Halloween.

Jennifer Lawrence stars as Maddie, a young woman living in Montauk and struggling to get by and pay her bills. When her car gets impounded by a former lover, Maddie finds a Craigslist ad giving away an old car to the person who dates their 19-year-old son, Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), and helps him break out of his shell before going to Princeton in the fall.

No Hard Feelings is raunchy, but it’s so fun and funny. It’s a very sensitive subject matter, and it’s handled in a way that works so well. It also has more heart than 90% of the movies on Netflix right now. Lawrence is so good as Maddie, and I was also really impressed with Feldman as Percy. Overall, No Hard Feelings is just a really good movie, one of the best movies on Netflix.
