How many seasons of The Family Business are on Netflix?

If you’re looking for an intriguing series to watch, I definitely recommend checking out The Family Business, now streaming on Netflix! The show originally aired on BET, but is now available on our favorite platform as well. How many seasons were added?

I come bearing good news! All four seasons of The Family Business are streaming on Netflix. The show first premiered in November 2018 with eight episodes. It came to an end in October 2022 with he series finale, “Rise or Fall.” During its run, the crime family drama produced a total of 42 episodes. We break down how many episodes are in each season below:

• Season 1- 8 episodes
• Season 2- 12 episodes
• Season 3 – 12 episodes
• Season 4 (final) – 10 episodes

It’s really great that all four seasons are available on Netflix! Look at Suits for example. Only eight out of the nine seasons have been added to the streamer. But if you’ve invested your time and want to know how the story ends, that means you’ll have to go on another platform to do so. This can be inconvenient for viewers.

I for one don’t like it when not all of the seasons of a show or all the movies in a franchise are available to watch in one place. What you need to know about The Family Business

The Family Business stars Ernie Hudson as patriarch L.C. Duncan; Valerie Pettiford as his wife and matriarch of the family Charlotte Duncan; Sean Ringgold as oldest sibling Junior Duncan; Tami Roman as oldest daughter London Duncan-Grant;  Javicia Leslie as youngest daughter Paris Duncan; Arrington Foster as Paris’ twin brother Rio Duncan;  Armand Assante as mafia crime boss and the Duncan’s ally Sal Dash; Darrin Henson as Orlando Duncan; Emilio Rivera as crime boss Alejandro Zuniga; and more. Throughout the show we also meet the Duncan extended family.

The crime drama, created by Carl Weber, is based on the 2012 book of the same name by the creator himself. Isn’t that so cool? The author also created the television adaptation of his own book! Or books, rather. In the novel series, there’s a total of five stories. The very first has a 4.4/5 score on Goodreads.

So what is it all about? As you may have guessed by now, The Family Business is centered around the Duncan family, lead by L.C. Duncan. The “upstanding family” runs an “exotic car dealership” in New York by day, but are also living a “dangerous” secret life at night, per the synopsis. When they’re surrounded, the Duncans face danger, having to “stick together” or “die separately.” I told you it was interesting!
