Neon cast: Get to know the cast of the Netflix reggaeton comedy

Fans of reggae music and comedy cannot miss out on Netflix’s latest series Neon starring Tyler Dean Flores as a rising superstar named Santi. After his single “Exagerao” goes viral, Santi and his two best friends decide to pursue their dreams of breaking into the music industry with the adventure of a lifetime.

Taking place among the bright lights of Miami, Neon follows the talented trio as they face the highs and lows of the music business, with help from A&P rep Mia, who hopes to turn Santi into a household name.

Featuring lots of great singing (and acting) performances in addition to guest spots from stars like Jordana Brewster and Genesis Rodriguez, Neon is an absolute blast from start to finish. Get to know the lead cast members below!

Tyler Dean Flores as Santi

After making his debut role in The Dark Knight Rises, actor Tyler Dean Flores has quickly become a rising star in Hollywood, making appearances in the Marvel show The Falcon and The Winter Soldier as Diego, When They See Us, and movies like Alone at Night, Reefa, and The Birthday Cake. As Santi in Neon, Flores gets to play an aspiring reggaeton singer bursting with raw talent and preparing for the experience of a lifetime with his ride-or-die best friends.

Emma Ferreira as Ness

Ness is one of Santi’s best friends and while she loves to joke with him and occasionally ruffle his feathers, Ness is also incredibly supportive and one of the first people to recognize Santi’s talent and potential. Despite having limited experience, she takes her job working as his interim manager very seriously. Emma Ferreira is best known for playing Ruby in Netflix’s comedy series Unstable starring Rob Lowe and his son John Owen Lowe.

Jordan Mendoza as Felix

Cinephile Felix completes the trifecta among his besties Santi and Ness. Felix loves talking about his favorite movie, Moonlight, but as the only one among his friends who doesn’t speak Spanish, he struggles with feeling like an outsider at times. He’s a little more introverted than his pals, but consistently loyal and ready to support them no matter what. Several of actor Jordan Mendoza’s projects are currently on Netflix, like Kaleidoscope, where he played RJ Acosta Jr. and the Jennifer Lawrence comedy No Hard Feelings.

Courtney Taylor as Mia

Mia’s ambitious drive in the male-dominated music industry has made it challenging for her to form meaningful friendships, which is why she’s so drawn to the powerful kinship between Santi, Ness, and Felix. It helps that Santi is a great singer so Mia feels that, as an A&P rep, she can be of genuine help to him in his pursuit of stardom. Actress Courtney Taylor has been in the industry for a while and you might recognize her as Sequoia in HBO’s Insecure or Erika in Abbott Elementary. Her other credits include The Invitation, The Company You Keep, and more.
