Netflix is adding 15 new movies and shows this week (Oct. 22, 2023)

October is almost over! But despite it almost being the end of the month, Netflix is still adding a few new movies and shows. Most of them aren’t horror movies even though it’s that time of year, but there might be something you’re interested in. The new additions include a new Netflix Original movie, a new season of an animated series, and a new nature show.

First up is Pain Hustlers. The new movie stars Emily Blunt, Chris Evans, Andy Garcia, Catherine O’Hara, Chloe Coleman, and Jay Duplass. The film follows Liza who is willing to do just about anything to make a life for herself and her daughter. She gets a job at a failed pharmaceutical startup and finds herself in the middle of a criminal conspiracy. The movie is coming to Netflix on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023

Princess Power is also back this week with season 2 of the series. The princesses are back and teaming up to help solve each other’s problems. The group of friends includes Kira Kiwi, Beatrice Blueberry, Rita Raspberry, and Penelope Pineapple. No characters have ever had names that are this fun! The series comes back on Monday, Oct. 23.

More in the mood for a nature docu-series? Life on Our Planet is headed to Netflix on Wednesday, Oct. 25. It’s narrated by Morgan Freeman, and Steven Spielberg is one of the executive producers. The series uses technology to bring extinct species back to life to show what Earth looked like thousands, if not millions, of years ago.
