If you’re a fan of The Haunting of Hill HouseThe Haunting of Bly Manor, and/or Midnight Mass, you’ll be happy to know that a new horror series from the same creator is coming to Netflix soon. Of course, we’re talking about The Fall of the House of Usher. We now have an official release date!

The horror miniseries will arrive on Netflix just in time for spooky season. So go ahead and mark your calendar and clear your schedule for The Fall of the House of Usher‘s release on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023. The first season consists of eight episodes and all of them will be dropped on Netflix at once on Oct. 12.

Created by one of the masters of horror, Mike Flanagan, The Fall of the House of Usher is loosely based on the 1839 short story of the same name and other works by Edgar Allan Poe. It follows the CEO of a successful yet corrupt pharmaceutical company who must face his shady and dark past when each of his children begins to die in unexplainable and brutal ways.

Many familiar faces from Flanagan’s other series return in this new series. There are also new faces in the cast as well. The talented cast includes Bruce Greenwood, Carla Gugino, Mary McDonnell, Willa Fitzgerald, Carl Lumbly, Mark Hamill, Henry Thomas, Crystal Balint, Kyliegh Curran, Samantha Sloyan, Matt Biedel, Kate Siegel, Rahul Kohli, Daniel Jun, T’Nia Miller, Paola Núñez, Sauriyan Sapkota, and Ruth Codd.
