Bling Empire: New York

06/08/23 UPDATE: Sadly, Netflix canceled the reality series in April 2023.

Bling Empire was a huge success for Netflix when it premiered in January 2021. Now, the Bling Empire franchise has expanded with a spinoff series called Bling Empire: New York, scheduled for a release on Jan. 20. You can expect eight 35-minute episodes to drop on your Netflix account on this release date.

Like the original series, Bling Empire: New York focuses on the lives of a group of sophisticated and affluent Asian Americans. But this time around, the wealthy socialites are from the Big Apple. You might even recognize one of the cast members from Bling Empire. If you recall, Dorothy Wang leaves sunny Los Angeles for New York in the Bling Empire season 2 finale. She joins the cast in Bling Empire: New York and is ready to mingle with the single men in the big city.

The rest of the cast includes Tina Leung, Blake Abbie, Lynn Ban, Stephen Hung, Deborah Hung, and Richard Chang. Based on the teaser, it looks like Bling Empire: New York will be just as drama-filled as Bling Empire, so be prepared.

Make sure to check out the teaser for a sneak peek of what’s to come in the new spinoff series!
