Sex/Life season 2

A brand new season of Sex/Life arrived on Netflix on Thursday, March 2, 2023. It had been over a year since the first season came out, so fans were more than ready to see how the story will continue in the second season. But just a heads up, the second season has only six episodes instead of eight. This is such a bummer.

Sex/Life was created by Stacy Rukeyser and is inspired by the book 44 Chapters About 4 Men by BB Easton. The first season was released on Netflix in June 2021, and it was reported that 67 million households watched it in its first month on the streamer. Due to the show’s success, Netflix renewed it for a second season in September 2021.

Since production on Sex/Life season 2 started in February 2022 and ended in May 2022, we had thought we’d be able to see the new season by the end of the year. However, Netflix decided to hold the release until early 2023. Although we didn’t get to see the second season until March, at least it was released in the first week of the month.

Sarah Shahi, Mike Vogel, Adam Demos, Margaret Odette, Phoenix Reich, Jonathan Sadowski, Li Jun Li, and Amber Goldfarb reprise their roles in the new season. Additionally, there are new cast additions such as Wallis Day, Craig Bierko, Dylan Bruce, Darius Homayoun, and Cleo Anthony.

Sadly, Sex/Life was canceled after only two seasons, so fans won’t be seeing a third season. However, the good news is that the second season’s finale gave a satisfying ending.
