Zombieverse
Netflix promised it would be releasing tons of Korean content this year, and they’re definitely making good on its promise. Next up is a Korean unscripted series called Zombieverse, scheduled to land on Netflix on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023.
Yes, this show is about people trying to survive a zombie attack. A group of contestants must work together to survive a simulated zombie attack while also completing challenging quests in Seoul, South Korea. It’s not going to be easy to fight off the undead, but if the contestants work together, they might just make it out alive. Again, it’s a simulated zombie attack, so none of it is real.
You might recognize some of the cast because many of them are well-known in South Korea. The cast includes South Korean actress Lee Si-young, South Korean entertainer Ro Hong-chul, South Korean rapper Kim Cheol/DinDin, Japanese singer Fukutomi Tsuki, South Korean baseball player Yoo Hee-kwan, TV personality Yiombi Jonathan, and South Korean Youtuber and vlogger Kim Jin-young/Dex.
If you’re a fan of the popular Netflix zombie series All of Us Are Dead, Zombieverse will definitely be up your alley. In fact, the reality series comes from the art team behind All of Us Are Dead.
Unfortunately, Netflix has not revealed how many episodes there will be. But we’re hoping for at least nine episodes like the other Korean reality series Physical: 100. We’ll let you know the total episode count once we find out.
