Good Night World cast: Meet the voice actors of the new Netflix anime

Netflix dropped a new anime series called Good Night World on Oct.12, and we had been eagerly anticipating this release. The Japanese animation studio, NAZ, was behind it while Katsuya Kikuchi directed the anime from scripts written by Michiko Yokote.

It’s an anime adaptation of the popular manga series of the same name by Uru Okabe, and it centers around a dysfunctional family who play the same virtual reality online game but have no idea that they’ve formed a happy family unit in it.

But who voices the main characters? Who else makes up the voice cast? No worries! We’ve got you covered and shared a cast and character guide to who voices who in Good Night World on Netflix below.

Who’s in the voice cast?

If you’re a faithful watcher of anime, you might recognize some of the voice actors voicing the characters in this series.

The main characters in the anime are Ichi/Taichiro Arima, AAAAA/Asuma Arima, Shiro/Kojiro Arima, and May/Miyabi Arima.

Daisuke Hirose voices Ichi/Taichiro Arima. He’s a Japanese voice actor known for his previous voice roles in the anime shows Oushitsu Kyoushi Heine, Val x Love, A3!, Re-Main and Petit Sekai.

Nobunaga Shimazaki voices the role of AAAAA/Asuma Arima. He’s known for voicing roles in the anime Angel Beats!, Tari Tari, Say “I love you”, Free!, Parasyte: The Maxim, Kuroko’s Basketball, Ace of Diamond, Assassination Classroom and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

Akio Otsuka voices Shiro/Kojiro Arima in the anime series. You might know him from his other voice roles in anime series such as My Hero Academia, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, The Great Cleric and The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

Aya Endo voices the role of May/Miyabi Arima. She also voiced other characters in the anime shows Hunter x Hunter, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Gintama, Comic Girls, Violet Evergarden, Sword Art Online, Fruits Basket, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Jujutsu Kaisen.
