Fair Play cast guide: Who stars in the Netflix erotic thriller film?

Netflix is set to release an erotic thriller called Fair Play, and you’ll want to see it right away once you find out who’s in the cast.

It’s a Netflix movie about a newly engaged power couple who find their relationship beginning to sour when one of them gets an unexpected promotion. Emily and Luke were happy in love and couldn’t get enough of one another even though they had to keep their relationship hidden from their mutual employer. But when one of them is offered a coveted promotion, the dynamics of their relationship significantly change, and keeping up a professional façade in the office becomes harder to do.

Phoebe Dynevor as Emily Meyers

Emily is a hard-working and driven financial analyst at the fiercely competitive hedge fund, One Crest Capital. While everything was initially going smoothly in her relationship, things take a turn for the worse when she’s offered the coveted position of Portfolio Manager over her fiancé. She soon finds her relationship pushed to the brink.

Phoebe was born on April 17, 1995, in Manchester, England to Emmerdale screenwriter Tim Dynevor and well-known British actress Sally Dynevor. She’s best known for her breakout role as Daphne Bridgerton in the popular period drama series, Bridgerton. She also had roles in other TV shows such as Waterloo Road, Prisoners’ Wives, The Village, Dickensian, Snatch and Younger. We’ll see her next in a thriller flick titled Anniversary.

Alden Ehrenreich as Luke Edmunds

There’s no doubt that Luke loves his fiancée Emily, but his hunger for power is what drives a wedge between them. He’s also an ambitious financial analyst at One Crest Capital, but he can’t help but wonder how Emily got the promotion over him.

Alden was born on Nov. 22, 1989, in Los Angeles, California, to an interior designer and an accountant. He attended and studied acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, but never ended up finishing his degree. He went on to take on minor roles in TV shows such as Supernatural and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. But he didn’t become widely known until his role as Hobie Doyle in the black comedy film Hail, Caesar!. He later took on the lead role as Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

His most recent roles were in the movies Cocaine Bear and Oppenheimer. He played Eddie in Cocaine Bear and Senate Aide in Oppenheimer. We’ll see him next in the Marvel miniseries Ironheart.
