Dead End: Paranormal Park

Based on the comic series DeadEndia by Hamish Steele, Dead End: Paranormal Park is a delightful and hilarious animated series. There are two seasons on Netflix and season 2 was timed for release last Halloween.

Taking place in a haunted theme park, Dead End: Paranormal Park is the perfect show to watch for the spooky season, and it’s appropriate for all ages! This animated horror-comedy series follows a trans teenager, his talking pug, a thousand-year-old demon, and their friends as they navigate an actual haunted theme park.

While the teens start working at the park, they stumble upon plans for a potential supernatural apocalypse, and it’s up to them to save the day. In the second season, the characters face evil twins, new enemies, and the revenge of Pauline Phoenix.

This PG animated show is one of the best Netflix has produced, and with its LGBTQ+ representation and inclusive cast, it’s easy to see why the show has found such a loyal fanbase. And for those who wanted to see more of Norma and her story in season 1, there’s much more to enjoy in the second season!

VERDICT: Watch
