When we last saw our protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, he was heading home after a successful mission at the Swordsmith Village. However, Tanjiro soon realizes that his close calls and moments of weakness will eventually catch up with him. After all, it’s not always good to be carried by others to victory. So, Tanjiro embarks on a journey to acquire true strength.

In Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc, we will witness Tanjiro get coached by the strongest Hashira, Gyomei Himejima. Tanjiro has a lot to learn, but with his power and skill, he will show the world he certainly has what it takes to be amongst the strongest.

The training to become a Hashira—a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps—is intense and demanding. Earning Himejima’s approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won’t give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan, along with the new Upper Rank 4, Nakime, continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki."

Release predictions

We’re eyeing a spring 2024 release date with Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc given the fact that the previous season was released in April 2023. If not spring, then fall 2024 may also be a feasible date, as the Entertainment District Arc aired from October 2021 to February 2022.

As for when the season will then be released on Netflix, we would estimate a release date three to four months after the final episode of Hashira Training Arc airs in Japan. This is what Netflix seems to have done with the most recent seasons of the shounen anime.

We’ll have to wait until Ufotable gives us some more updates about what’s to come. In the meantime, we’re very excited about this season and know that it’ll be worth the wait. We know you’ll feel the same, as this season has all the fights, drama, and, of course, demon-slaying that you know and certainly love.
