When are new episodes of Strong Girl Nam-soon on Netflix?

A new Korean drama to be on the lookout for in October would have to be Strong Girl Nam-soon. It’s scheduled to have its premiere on Netflix on Oct. 7, 2023, with new episodes being released bi-weekly. Strong Girl Nam-soon is a Korean Netflix original series helmed by Kim Jeong-sik and Lee Kyung-sik from scripts written by Baek Mi-kyung. In addition, Barunson Studio, Story Phoenix, and SLL are the production companies behind the show.

If you were wondering why the show’s title sounds familiar, it’s probably because you watched the 2017 Korean series Strong Girl Bong-soon. Strong Girl Nam-soon serves as a spinoff to that popular show.

It follows Gang Nam-soon, a young woman gifted with superhuman strength, who returns to South Korea in search of her birth family only to find herself involved in a drug case. Well-known South Korean actress Lee Yoo-mi stars in the leading role as Gang Nam-soon. Kim Jung-eun, Kim Hae-sook, Ong Seong-wu, Byeon Woo-seok, and many others also join her in the cast.

Strong Girl Nam-soon release schedule on Netflix

As mentioned above, the first episode is slated to drop on Netflix on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023. Going forward, new episodes will be released every Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, there are 16 episodes in the first season, with an expected finale date on Nov. 26.
