When are new episodes of Castaway Diva released on Netflix?

October is already looking to be a great month for Netflix! New Korean content is coming out that month, including the Korean drama Castaway Diva. If you want to know more about this upcoming Korean series, we’ve got you covered by sharing all there is to know about it down below.

Castaway Diva is a new Korean Netflix original series directed by Oh Chung-hwan from scripts written by Park Hye-ryun. This is their third series collaboration, previously working together on the K-Dramas While You Were Sleeping and Start-Up.

Led by Extraordinary Attorney Woo star Park Eun-bin, Castaway Diva follows a young aspiring singer named Seo Mok-ha who is rescued on a deserted island after 15 years. After being rescued, she reenters modern society and tries to adjust while still pursuing her dream of becoming a diva.

Park is joined in the cast by other well-known South Korean actors such as Kim Hyo-jin, Chae Jong-hyeop, Cha Hak-yeon, and Kim Joo-hun.

Castaway Diva release schedule on Netflix

The first episode of the series is scheduled to drop on Netflix on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, followed by new episodes being released every Saturday and Sunday. There are 12 episodes in total in the first season with an expected finale date on Dec. 3. However, keep in mind that release dates are subject to change and can be pushed back or moved forward.
