Netflix is adding 12 new movies and shows this week (Sept. 24, 2023)

Fall is officially here and September is coming to an end! Time is clearly an illusion, But no matter what time of year it is, Netflix is always adding new movies and shows to its lineup and this week is no different.

This week, the new additions include a new animated series, a rom-com, and a new Spanish thriller movie.

One of the biggest things coming this week is Castlevania: Nocturne. The Castlevania spin-off is heading to Netflix on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023. The show takes place in France 1792 and follows Richter Belmont as he tries to uphold his family’s legacy and stop the rise of a dangerous vampire.

The cast includes Edward Bluemel, Pixie Davis, Thuso Mbedu, Sydney James Harcourt, and Nastassja Kinski.

Castlevania: Nocturne and Love is in the Air coming to Netflix this week

The newest rom-com to hit Netflix is Love is in the Air! The movie comes to streaming service on Thursday, Sept. 28, and follows a pilot who ends up falling for the guy who is there to sink her flying business. It’s the ultimate enemies-to-lovers plot!

The film stars Delta Goodrem, Joshua Sasse, Roy Billing, Steph Tisdell, and Simon Brook McLachlan.

Nowhere is also heading to Netflix this week. The Spanish thriller hits Netflix on Friday, Sept. 29. The thriller follows a pregnant woman who has just escaped a country at war and is now hiding in a storage container on a cargo ship. She must give birth while at sea and try to survive. The film stars Anna Castillo and Tamar Novas.
