Stranger Things is without a doubt Netflix’s best original series ever, combining elements of sci-fi, horror, drama, and comedy so seamlessly. The beloved show follows a group of friends living in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, whose worlds are forever changed when they learn about otherworldly threats coming for them and meet the young lady who can save them. Of course, we’re talking about the Upside Down and Eleven.

The series premiered in 2016 and was an instant hit, proving Netflix was a streaming service worth subscribing to. We’ve gotten four seasons so far, with the latest coming out in two parts last summer. Although we had to wait a long time for it to debut, fans really showed up and made it one of the biggest seasons of any Netflix show to date. Now, we’re in for another long wait for the fifth and final season because of the ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes, but hopefully, the next installment will be worth it.
