Love at First Sight cast: Who stars in the Netflix romantic drama?

Jennifer E. Smith’s hit young adult novel The Statistical Odds of Love at First Sight has been adapted into a Netflix movie called Love at First Sight, and it lands on the streaming platform on Sept. 15. If you’re a fan of romantic dramas, this is definitely a movie you’ll want to check out.

Little Women director Vanessa Caswill makes her feature film directorial debut with Love at First Sight. She directed the movie from a screenplay written by To All the Boys: Always and Forever writer Katie Lovejoy.

It’s a swoon-worthy romance film following two strangers who connect and fall in love on a cross-Atlantic plane trip. However, they accidentally lose track of each other at customs, and the chance of them bumping into each other again seems impossible. Haley Lu Richardson plays one of the two main leads as Hadley Sullivan, a lover of literature and poetry who is on her way to London to attend her father’s wedding.

You might’ve watched Richardson in her earlier roles in the TV shows Shake It Up and Ravenswood. She also appeared in the movies The Edge of Seventeen and Split. She starred as Stella Grant in the romantic drama film Five Feet Apart with Cole Sprouse and as Ellie Dennis in the teen drama series Recovery Road. Her most recent role was playing Portia in the Emmy Award-winning series The White Lotus. English actor Ben Hardy stars in the other leading role as Oliver, a statistics major from the UK whom Hadley has a romantic connection with once she meets him at the airport. Hardy is best known for his previous roles in the TV shows EastEnders, The Woman in White and The Girl Before. If you were wondering whose voice you’re hearing narrate the movie, it’s none other than English actress Jameela Jamil. She’s best known for her previous role as Tahani Al-Jamil in The Good Place.
