What is Woman of the Hour about?

According to Deadline, Woman of the Hour follows the life of Cheryl Bradshaw, a woman who wins a dating show game, resulting in her getting a date with one of the men from the competition. At first, Rodney Alcala, her date, seemed to be a pretty decent person. But we soon find out that he’s pretty creepy, stalking Cheryl at every turn. However, it’s clear that his stalking behavior was only the tip of the iceberg, as Rodney is a wanted serial killer, too.

What will Cheryl do now that she’s captured the attention of Rodney? Will she escape? Will she live to tell her story? Or is this the beginning of the end of her life?

Who stars in Woman of the Hour?

Pitch Perfect actress Anna Kendrick stars as Cheryl Bradshaw. She stars alongside Daniel Zovatt, who stars as Rodney Alcala. Kendrick also serves as the director for this unnerving thriller. This will be Kendrick’s first time directing.

In addition to Kendrick and Zovatt, the crew of this title includes Ian McDonald as the writer, Tracy Rosenblum as co-producer, and Stephen Crawford and Andrew Deane as executive producers.

When will Woman of the Hour release?

We don’t have a release date for Woman of the Hour just yet. However, we’re predicting a late 2023 release at the very soonest, but an early 2024 release date could be in the cards as awell following its acquisition at the Toronto International Film Festival.
