While you might still be working your way through some of September’s biggest Netflix shows like Virgin River season 5, Sex Education season 4, and Love is Blind season 5 into October, know that there are more shows waiting to add to your watch list when you finish.

October’s spookiest release comes from The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan. The Fall of the House of Usher has been one of the most anticipated titles on Netflix, and it’s arriving right in time for Friday the 13th. Beyond that, there’s teen dramas, spy thrillers, and much more!

Lupin part 3

The third part of the French mystery-thriller kicks off with seven all-new episodes on Oct. 5, and it’s going to be a wild ride for Assane as he’s in hiding but still has huge decisions to make about his future. The third part will be an action-packed thrill ride that’s sure to go straight to the peak of the top 10.

Bodies

Skip! A new British limited series is coming to Netflix, and it’s the kind of mind-bending mystery that viewers love from the streaming service. Based on a graphic novel by Si Spencer, Bodies takes place in four different timelines as detectives discover the same body. If you’re interested in multi-timelines thrillers, you will be adding this one to your watch list in time for Halloween on Oct. 19, but if you’re not typically a fan of this genre, skip it for something else.

The Fall of the House of Usher

Watch! Even though it comes out one day before Friday the 13th, you can still get your horror on with Mike Flanagan’s new miniseries The Fall of the House of Usher. Based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe, as well as other works by the writer, the series follows the CEO of a pharmaceutical company as family members start dying and past secrets rise to the surface. This one’s definitely an October must-watch.

Neon

Watch! Although October’s definitely the month for horror, mystery, and thrillers, we can always use a few laughs here and there. Neon centers on a trio of friends in Miami on their climb to reggaeton stardom. Throughout eight episodes, there are hilarious ups and downs as the friends try to make their dreams come true. Join them on their journey beginning on Oct. 19.

Creature

Skip! The Turkish fantasy-drama series Creature, which is based on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, is a new limited series that tackles the themes of death and afterlife in the final era of the Ottoman Empire in Istanbul. In the face of a tragic event, a careless scientist’s student uses strange methods to complete the scientist’s work, but there are additional repercussions. If you love fantasy, check this one out, but if not, skip the limited series for another time.

Elite season 7

Watch! Whenever there’s a new season of Elite on it way to Netflix, then you know we’re in for some drama. Elite season 7 arrives on Oct. 20 and brings back some familiar faces. If nothing else, we can always count on this show for murder, mystery, and mayhem. There’s no way Elite fans will be skipping season 7, especially since season 8 has already been confirmed.
