Netflix is adding 22 new movies and shows this week (Sept. 10, 2023)

Fall is unofficially here, but temperatures are still incredibly hot in most places, so why not stay in the air-conditioning and catch up on the latest movies and shows coming to Netflix? This week, you can expect a fairy tale movie, a new romance movie, and a new season of a Netflix series.

First up is Once Upon a Crime! The fairytale twist hits Netflix on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. The movie takes place at Cinderella’s ball, but this time, Cinderella doesn’t go to the ball on her own. She goes with Little Red Riding Hood. Unfortunately, a mystery starts to evolve (a murder!!) and Little Red Riding Hood must solve it before the clock hits midnight!

Love At First Sight is also headed to Netflix this week. The romance film will be available to stream on Friday, Sept. 15. The movie stars Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy as Hadley and Oliver, respectively. The two fall in love while on a flight from New York to London, but they get separated in the chaos of the airport. How can their love survive after such a short period of time? And will they ever be able to find each other again?

Season 2 of Surviving Summer is also coming to the streaming service this week. You can start binge-watching the new season on Friday, Sept. 15. This season, Summer and her friends are training for a national surfing competition, but Summer will also have a new rival in the water. But she won’t only have to beat them on the waves. She’ll have to compete for the boy she loves as well.
