Does Brady die in Virgin River season 5? (spoilers)

Oh Brady, our favorite problematic king, not a season of Virgin River goes by without you somehow finding yourself treading water and trying to keep your head above the waves.

Every season, like clockwork, Brady someone ends up in a precarious situation or two. In season 3, we saw Brady being arrested for shooting Jack. Season 4 saw Brady get attacked in the prison yard while in jail for shooting Jack, a crime he was later cleared for.

After his release, Brady tried to get back on the straight and narrow, but sadly he found himself too deep in Calvin’s drug operation and even Calvin’s death wasn’t enough for him to get out of the game.

Fast forward to season 5, Brady is once again trying to dig himself out of the hole he’s found himself in now that Melissa has gotten her claws in him after moving in on Calvin’s operation as Virgin River’s new top crime boss.

Thus far, Brady has made like a cat with nine lives and gotten himself out of the many life-threatening situations he’s found himself in but does his luck finally run out in season 5?

Does Brady die in Virgin River? (Is Ben Hollingsworth leaving Virgin River?)

Fear not, Brady is not going anywhere and neither is Ben Hollingsworth! While Brady once again finds himself between a rock and a hard place in season 5 of Virgin River, he manages to once again find a way out of the predicament he’s landed in by the season’s end.

Across the fifth season of the show, Brady spends most of his days trying to bring Melissa and her drug operation down with help from Mike. As you might expect, Brady’s decision to be a CI on the inside causes him a lot of turmoil this season resulting in the end of his relationship with Brie and putting him in a handful of dangerous situations as he attempts to gather evidence.

Things come to a head in the final episodes of the season as Melissa and her goons put the pieces together and realize they have a mole. It begins to look like Brady has finally bitten off more than he could chew when Melissa and her men take him hostage with the intent to kill him after beating intel out of him.

Fortunately, Jack and Mike arrive in time to come to Brady’s rescue with Mike even taking a bullet to protect Brady! By the season’s end, it seems that Brady might finally be able to put the drama of the drug operation behind him which hopefully will give him a new lease on life moving forward. But this is Brady we’re talking about, so one can only imagine what drama could be lurking around the corner next season!
