However, one of the show’s creators Steven Maeda, stated in an interview with TVLine that there won’t be an eventual romantic relationship between Zoro and Nami because the manga creator didn’t want this to happen. Yes, the One Piece star is married. In January 2023, news broke that Mackenyu had gotten married to a non-celebrity woman whose identity is still unknown. It was reported that he had been dating the woman for some time before getting married. Also, the news outlet stated that the mystery woman was older and that Mackenyu had met her through work.

Although Mackenyu’s wife’s identity isn’t known publicly, there has been a rumor going around that she could be former Japanese actress Natsuki Okamoto. But it’s important we mention that neither Mackenyu nor Natsuki Okamoto has come out to confirm this rumor. So, his wife’s identity is still unidentified.
