Retribution is an action thriller film helmed by Nimród Antal from a screenplay written by Chris Salmanpour. Additionally, it’s a remake of the 2015 Spanish-French movie of the same name.

It follows a bank executive named Matt Turner, who while driving with his two kids, receives a phone call from a mysterious caller who claims there’s a bomb under his seat. The unknown assailant informs Matt that his car will explode if they stop and get out. Forced to complete a specific series of dangerous tasks, Matt begins a high-speed chase across the city while trying to figure out how to survive.

Neeson stars in the leading role as Matt Turner. But who plays the kids? What about the other characters? Here’s who plays who in the Liam Neeson-led movie.

Retribution cast

Liam Neeson is best known for starring in Steven Spielberg’s historical drama film Schindler’s List. He also had roles in the movies Les Misérables, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Batman Begins, The Chronicles of Narnia, Love Actually, Taken, The Grey, The A-Team, Wrath of the Titans, Non-Stop, The Ice Road and Marlowe.

Jack Champion plays Matt’s son. You might recognize him from his previous role as Spider in Avatar: The Way of Water and Ethan Landry in Scream VI.

Lilly Aspell portrays Matt’s young daughter. You might’ve watched her in the movies Wonder Woman, Extinction and Wonder Woman 1984.

Is Retribution on Netflix?

Sadly, the action film is not available to stream on Netflix. There’s a possibility that it could be added to the streamer in the future if Netflix acquires licensing rights, but that’s not the case as of right now. So you’ll have to look elsewhere to watch this movie.

Where to watch Retribution

As of Aug. 25, the only place where you can watch Retribution is in theaters. You can find screenings near you and purchase tickets on websites such as Fandango, AMC Theatres, and Cinemark. It’s unknown if there will be a streaming release after its theatrical run is over. We’ll make sure to keep you updated, though.

The action flick is reportedly 1 hour and 31 minutes long. Honestly, it’s not a long movie at all. After watching it, you could watch The Retirement Plan starring Nicolas Cage. That movie is only 1 hour and 43 minutes long.
