AKA is a new French Netflix original movie. It premiered on the streaming service on April 28. If you like action thrillers, AKA is the new Netflix movie for you.

AKA tells the story of Adam Franco (Alban Lenoir), an agent who goes undercover to take down the head of a criminal organization, Victor (Eric Cantona). Adam gets close to Victor and his family, and it blurs the line and makes it more difficult for Adam to accomplish his mission.

According to Netflix Top 10, Netflix viewers tuned in to watch almost 50 million hours of AKA during its first week on the platform, which means it was the No. 1 non-English movie of the week. It’s also one of the most popular non-English movies of the year so far. It will be interesting to see how popular the movie is in its first 28 days and if it’ll end up as one of Netflix’s most popular non-English movies of all time. To be determined!
