Netflix is adding 20 new movies and shows this week (July 23, 2023)

It’s the final full week of July and while Netflix still hasn’t agreed to pay writers, they are coming out with a bunch of new movies and shows this week. The new additions include a new season of a baking competition show, a new Netflix Original movie, and the next part of a new season of a popular Netflix Original series.

First up this week is season 7 of The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals is coming to Netflix on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. It’s like the original series we all know and love but instead of amateurs, it’s the professionals that are competing. The judges are Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden, and Stacy Solomon is joining Liam Charles as hosts.

This week also brings Happiness for Beginners on Thursday, July 27. The movie stars Ellie Kemper, Luke Grimes, Nico Santos, Blythe Danner, Ben Cook, and Shayvawn Webster. The film follows a woman who recently got divorced as she tries to rediscover herself by going on a wilderness survival course. Little does she know that she’s going to get close to someone while she’s there.

The second half of The Witcher season 3 is also coming this week. The remaining episodes of the season come to Netflix on Thursday, July 27. The final season featuring Henry Cavill also stars Joe Batey as Jaskier, Freya Allen as Ciri, and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer.

Happiness For Beginners and The Witcher on Netflix this week

The final episodes will show where Geralt and Yennefer end up after the events of volume 1 and we’ll also see how Jaskier and Ciri fare as they are all alone with Radovid.
